Located in East Hartford, Phở 501 is a fine example of Vietnamese culture as we believe food is the best way to bring families together. ^_^

Phở 501 officially opened its doors on Sept 1992 It started off as a continuation of the previous restaurant called "The Omelette House." At the time, Vietnamese cuisine was something most Americans were still unaware of. The founder and chef Toan Nguyen would serve eggs with baguettes everyday and on the weekends he would cook some Pho for the Vietnamese customers that would come in. He was unsure if the American customers would want to try or like this popular Vietnamese delicacy. As time progress, customers began to request for this intriguing Phở until it completely took over the eggs on the menu...and the rest they say is history.

We humbly been honored to have won "CT Best of Hartford" for "Best Soup" in 2014, 2016, 2017, & 2018. In addition, been feature in numerous publications such as The Hartford Courant, Connecticut Magazine, Yelp & Best Things in CT!

Pick up, Curbside & Dining

Curbside Pick Up

Please let us know beforehand when ordering if you like to request curbside. If curbside is requested, payment by phone is mandatory. Please let us know what car you will be driving and pull up in front of restaurant . Once we see the vehicle we will drop off your order.

Pick up

If you will feel comfortable coming inside to pick up order that is okay! We do encourage you to wear a face mask (which as of 4/20 is required to wear in public for CT)

Inside Dining

We do offer a few tables inside the restaurant. We are compiling with current CT regulations regarding social distancing We sanitized the tables & chairs each morning and night as well as for every customer before each sitting. To make your experience much more safe. we encourage paying beforehand to avoid going back to the line. Thank you! :)
